Our Activities
We support the regional community by holding events where we can host a variety of panels and workshops in a wide array of creative disciplines including writing, visual and performing arts, and costuming. Not only that, but we have raised over $70,000 to donate to charities that focus on animal welfare, education, and the well-being of people.
Our primary educational event is Fur the More, held annually in March for 3 days over the weekend. We bring guests from around the globe to share their expertise and experience in their creative media. We promote social responsibility by sponsoring a selected charitable cause that we promote to the attendance and raise money for their mission.
Annually in September, we hold our fundraising event Fur-B-Que for our charitable endeavors. During this event, we bring together members of the community for a day when people can meet with our organization while enjoying a beautiful country setting. We promote charitable giving, social responsibility, and make sure no one leaves with an empty belly.
We support the regional community and promote social responsibility by positioning our organization to be a source for education and guidance to set up and run their own local events aligned with our missions.
