Our Activities
We support the regional community by holding events where we can host a variety of panels and workshops in a wide array of creative disciplines including writing, visual and performing arts, and costuming. Not only that, but we have raised over $70,000 to donate to charities that focus on animal welfare, education, LGBTQIA+, and the well-being of people. We support the regional community and promote social responsibility by positioning our organization to be a source for education and guidance to set up and run their own local events aligned with our missions.
Fur the ‘More
Best known as our first program event, Fur the ‘More held annually in Spring for 3 days over a weekend. We bring guests from around the globe to share their expertise and experience in their creative media. We promote social responsibility by sponsoring a selected charitable cause that we promote to the attendance and raise money for their mission.
Miryokucon
Baltimore, MD’s newest Japanese Cultural, Anime, and Gaming Convention started in 2023. Held in the fall for 3 days over a weekend. Joined Mid-Anthro as a program event in 2024. Featuring guest and panels related to Japanese Culture, Anime, Gaming, and education.

Fur-B-Que
Annually in the fall, we hold our fundraising event Fur-B-Que for our charitable endeavors. During this one day event, we bring together members of the community for a day when people can meet with our organization a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of food. We promote charitable giving, social responsibility, and make sure no one leaves with an empty belly.
